Tis the season to visit Seattle, again. Every 3 or 4 months we go to take Sydney to a specialist there for her eye. We decided to make a weekend of it this trip though. Sydney's eye is still getting better. Slow but sure. Her vision is at 20/50 right now, which I guess is a line better than last time. She was able to read some of the 20/40 line, but not all the way yet! She is very close though. Our goal is still 20/20 with her glasses on of course. So hopefully she will definitely be at 20/40 in December when we go back. Here are some pics from our little vacation!

We decided to start the trip at the Palouse Falls, just outside of Washtucna, since we hadn't seen it yet. It was pretty cool.

I know what you're thinking.... AAWWWWEEEEEE, so cute! ;)

There are these little, TINY trails around the falls, and people actually HIKE on them. There were people hiking around it when we were there! Scary!!

Our next stop was the Zoo. My dad wanted to make sure the kids went to the zoo, so he paid our way! Thanks daddy-o! The girls had a blast there!

Of course, the girls had to squish a penny!

Every kid loves a tractor for some reason. They wanted to stay and play on it, but we wanted to see cool animals! Call us crazay!

Livia was pretending to shoot the milk in her mouth! Funny girl!

I had the girls convinced, that if we held our arms out and held really still, then our arms would fill up with butterflies! They tried for a few minutes, until their arms got too tired! :)

Both the girls got some great pictures!

Sydney with her daddy!

We went camping on Camano Island, which was about an hour North of Seattle. It was such a nice camp ground. We will DEFINITELY be camping there again next year! It was right on the Puget Sound, so there were TONS of sea life! More than I have EVER seen! There were tons of starfish, crabs, muscles, clams, and other "weird-looking stuff" there; plus sea-urchants kept spraying us! The girls liked it a lot!

The girls found lots of shells of course!

There were TONS of starfish as well. It was seriously hard to walk without stepping on them. We had to tip-toe around all of them!

More starfish!

Here is our campground. Gotta have smores when your camping!

We stopped on the highway and bought some sweet, white corn from some local farmers. It was the BEST corn I have ever tasted! I know things always seem to taste better when you are camping, but this corn even tasted good BEFORE it was cooked. It was SOOO good and sweet! We ate corn every night! :)

Here's a good one of Livia in the morning from camping! It was a fun trip.
