September was a busy month!
First off, the Dean's came down to watch the girls while I visited Mike in Boston and we took a road trip for our 16th anniversary! We covered three states, Boston, New Hampshire, & Maine. It really was one of the best trips ever!
This is Mike's office at his work, Brandeis University. Not so glamorous....
Of course, a little car work before we headed off....
But I didn't mind. I mean he DID buy me an Apple Watch! :D
We had fun playing downtown Boston.
The Mayflower
Then we headed north to New Hampshire. There was a cute little lighthouse at the end of this very long rock wall! It had to have been close to a mile! Pretty walk.
I LOVED how the water was so clear! Cold, but clear!
And the beach was covered with smooth rocks and smooth seashells! It was cool.
We traveled to New Hampshire and hiked the Flume Gorge. It was beautiful!
It's going to be hard to beat this Anniversary with fresh lobster right on the coast of Maine!
When we got back, we visited NASA with David and Diana. It was pretty cool. I regretted not bringing the kids with us.
Sydney turned 12 this month! So she is now in Young Women's and can go to the temple now! Here's a few pictures of her first temple trip at the Houston TX temple.
Sydney looks so much more grown up to me now. Maybe it's because shes trying to act and dress more grown up..... *sigh*
I did one of those balloon avalanches where they all come falling on her when she opens her bedroom door. :)
She chose her closest friends to go play laser tag and eat fro-yo.
Here's a few random things from the month.
Brooke at school with some friends.
This was a fun YW activity we did with the 12-13 year olds. It was a blast! Messy twister with colored shaving cream! :) hahaha
Livia ran for secretary for her freshman class at school. And she WON! :)
Impromptu pictures after church.
Diana taught me how to make home-made noodles!
And of course, the boys doing more car work.
