New Shirts

Mike surprised me (and him) with a new shirt. He knows I LOVED My Little Pony when I was younger! (Okay... now too) so he bought me this shirt off Woot! Mine is Ponies of the Apocalypse, and his is Pandemonium. Get it!? Funny huh?!

First Pit Fire

Nothing like smores in your homemade fire pit in the backyard! ;) It was cold, but fun.

Backyard Weekends

We have a TON of work to do in our backyard, so guess what we get to do on the weekends?.....

The first 2 pics are the before pictures, of what our yard looked like when we first moved in. You can see it was just a thick forest!

Mike counted, and he said we have 12 apple trees in our backyard! But they are wild ones, and some trees even have huge, wicked thorns on them! The ground was covered with small rotten apples!

This is what it looks like now. Mike has taken some of the trees down, which allows for sunlight to actually touch the yard, which didn't happen at all before!

As you can see we still have a TON of work still to do, but it's a start. Next on our list, we need to get rid of our huge pile of tree branches and limbs! Can't wait for this weekend.... (*not*)

Craft Day

The girls had a 5 day weekend last week, plus it was raining, so Sydney decided it was craft day. She made herself a pillow! She did really good too.

She also sewed her tail back onto her monkey all by herself, (by hand). She did a really cute job!

Of course, Livia wanted to make one too, so she did, and she did amazing as well.

I also made the girls each a dress!!!

Okay..... I didn't make them in one day! I actually started them in March to help pass the time while I was pregnant, but the dresses proved to be WAY harder than I anticipated. But I decided it was time to finish them once and for all, so I finally did! (after several phone calls to my mom!) They wore them to church on Sunday and I was secretly very proud! :)
