Snow Fun

We have a great sledding. It starts up at the top of our back hill, and then wraps around to the side of the house. The girls get a lot of use out of it in the winters. :) It's a little too steep for Brooky's taste still, so she's sitting, observing... haha!

I wish I could remember why Brooky was mad here, but something happened, hence the hand on the hip! :) She's so funny! ;)

COLD Arboretum

David and Diana came to Moscow for a visit, and it was such a beautiful sunny day, that for some reason, it seemed like a good idea to go for a walk at the Arboretum. Our walk didn't last very long at all, because it was SOOO COLD!!!! But it really was a beautiful day! :)

Livia Turns 12

I can't believe I am old enough to have a 12 year old! Livia is now a Beehive at church, and gets to attend Mutual. She is such a beautiful young lady!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIVIA! 

She decided that 12 was a big enough birthday to make it a HUGE slumber party with 12 girls! Instead of having the girls each bring a gift, she had the invites say to bring your favorite snack food. So, they had a TON of JUNK to snack on all night, which kept them awake until 2 or 3 in the morning, getting into trouble! :) I think Livia learned that 12 is just too big of a number, but they had some fun too! :) 

 Family Party: 

Since she's now 12 (*sniff*) she got make-up, a make-up caboodle, blow-dryer, flat iron, and of course, the first Hunger Games movie that she's been DYING to watch, (but mean-old-mom made her wait until she was 12 to see) :) So she had a GREAT birthday! She is excited to start wearing make-up and everything. 

The Box ...

This couch box was given to us by our neighbor, for a toy for the kids to play in. It was HUGE! It took up a BIG part of our LR for a couple weeks, before I finally tossed it! Brooky LOVED it though. It was cute. 

Homemade Applesauce

My mom and dad got me some new KitchenAid attachments for Christmas, so I decided to make some applesauce  Brooky and I had fun making it. It was pretty easy to make too. It tasted good, but I think next time I will try a new recipe. :) A little too sweet  for me :) (although B was helping pour the cinnamon and sugar in) The attachment worked great though. I love them! Thanks mom and dad! :) xoxo

Musical Rooms

Mike and the girls have been trying to talk me into splitting the older girls up finally. I have been reluctant, but they finally cracked me. Livia & Sydney now have their OWN rooms, for the first time ever! :) They both LOVE their new rooms!

Brooky is still in her same room, but we converted her crib to a "big girl bed", which she LOVES!

Sydney moved upstairs into our office room. Her room is definitely smaller, but she says she likes it better and she doesn't like really big rooms! (ummmm okay...)

Livia gets the huge downstairs room all to herself now though. I did move my craft table and craft "Stuff" downstairs, in her closet. But her closet is still big enough that it doesn't get in her way at all. (It is kind-of weird sewing in my 12 year-old's closet though, not gonna lie, but oh well, it works, for now!)  :)

Mike soon realized why it might not be such a good idea to switch rooms.... our room got a lot smaller! The office is now in our bedroom.... not cool. And Mike's gaming computer is in the garage... again, not ideal, but they work I guess..... for now! :) 

New Year's Eve

We spent New Year's Eve in Moscow. We started it off with some sledding!

Followed by an afternoon of games and JUNK FOOD!

Then, we spent the evening with some friends.

The girls freaking out cuz Beiber performed on TV after the ball dropped! :) lol

Ending with FIREWORKS & SPARKLERS!

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!
