Snow Snow Snow!!!

Well, here it is officially APRIL and we are STILL getting snow. We got about 5 more inches of snow last night! UUggghhhhh!!!!! I want to wear my new flip-flops and spring clothes. I am getting tired of digging the snow pants and boots back out of the closet. Here are pictures to prove our sad weather!

Mommy's Sick

I have been sick ALL WEEK!! I caught the "Crap" going around, but I'm feeling a little better now and I got some Amoxicillin to clear up my sinuses. However, I have noticed that when "the momma" gets sick, so does the WHOLE entire house! I guilted Mike into loading the dishwasher once, but other than that, the house is in sad shape. So..... I told the girls they had to "earn" their allowance, by doing dishes and sweeping. They had a cow of course, at first, but they did a very good job. They did such a good job, that I "let" them do it AGAIN the next night. And Livia goes, "AGAIN!! But it's so hard, because you have to unload the dishwasher, and then rinse ALL the dishes, and then load ALL the dishes. Then we have to clean all the counters off and the table, and sweep the whole entire floor!" All I said to her was, "That's nothing, I should let you do laundry, and then maybe you'll stop changing your outfit more than once a day!" That ended the conversation. I think she's understanding how much work is involved to keeping our house in order. Plus, this morning, as she finished her cereal, I noticed that she emptied her left over food from her bowl and rinsed it out, which she had a very hard time remembering to do before. :) Good job girls!

Hand-Made Bows

My sister has started a new bow-making business, and I bought some from her, for the girls for St. Patties Day. They turned out really cute. I ended up buying like 6 bows from her. Check her website out, she does and very good job, and she takes requests. It's bowmansbows.blogspot.com

Spring Break

For Spring Break we went up North to visit a resort, called Stoneridge. Because it's winter, their outdoor activities were closed, but we were still able to do lots of swimming, hot tubing, basketball, and wally-ball. It was pretty fun. We went there with my sister, Tara, and her daughter, so the kids all had a blast together. Poor Sydney was sick for part of it though! :( I also tried to improve my swim time, but the best I could swim 10 laps, was 12:23. It definitely gave me a good workout! Here's a few pics:

Talent Show

The girls sang "Love Story" by Taylor Swift for our ward Talent Show. They did such a good job! Sorry my camera skills are lame. At one point Tamara's head gets cut out. Don't ask my why? I blame Mike some how! :) I also wasn't able to zoom, because we need a new camera. But you can still still how cute and nervous the girls were. They all 3 did really good! (You might need to pause my music down on my side bar, to hear the girls sing.)

Weekend Pictures

Last weekend Mike and I went to the Spokane Temple. However, when we got there Mike realized his recommend had expired, so just I ended up going, but my parents met me there. It was nice to be able to go with just me and my parents though. While we were there, Mike took some pictures of the temple. You can see the moon and Venus pretty good.

Afterwards, we headed North, to visit with family. Here the girls are sledding onto a big puddle of ice in my parents' driveway! They had a lot of fun!

Basketball is Over

Livia did very well this year. We were hoping she would, so she would enjoy it and want to play, since Mike and I both played and love basketball. She made at least 1 basket at every game I think. Here is her team, minus 1 player. Good Job Livia, you played awesome this season!
