We stayed home for New Years Eve. My sister, Heather, and her family came over and celebrated with us. We played lots of games, ate lots of food and played lots of "Mario" (the new 4 player game!) The girls even got to play in the snow, since it snowed all night. It was pretty fun. The "boys," Mike and Jeff played "Call of Duty" on their computers ALL NIGHT though, so Mike was kind-of in the dog house later that night! Despite that though, Heather and I, and all the kids made it a fun night though. We didn't get to bed until 1:00 am though! The girls slept in until 11:oo the next morning though, so they weren't too cranky! Happy New Year!

Christmas #3
After we opened gifts and had breakfast and things settled, we traveled North, to Mike's parent's house where we had our 3rd Christmas celebration, with HIS family this time! It was fun to get together with everyone though. Their family doesn't get together as often as mine does, so it's nice when we do. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. After their 3rd Christmas, the girls were definitely spoiled! It was a good weekend.

(In the picture below, you can see how happy Livia is with her "snuggie" that's she's been wanting for a while. Funny girl!!! I thought about getting one for my mom, and Livia goes, NO, I WANT ONE REALLY BAD!!!! So her Nana got her one!) :)
We also went to a swimming resort while we were up north. We played some basketball, the boys played racquetball, and then we all got to go swimming and hot tubing. We all had lots of fun!
Yes, my man can still hit the rim!!! :)
Christmas #2
We spent Christmas morning in Moscow, which is really nice! Livia got a stamping up kit from Santa and Sydney got a guitar. We got the girls a computer for them to share. they both like it now, but on Christmas, Livia said, "I wish you guys didn't get us the computer, because then I bet Santa would have brought me a laptop!" (which is what she had asked him for!) funny girl! They got lots of stuff though, and Mike and I did also. It was a good year for everyone!
Christmas Eve
Christmas was a little different this year, since my parents went to Germany to visit my sister and her family, we had to celebrate things a little different as well. Plus I got strep throat on top of everything else going on, so for Christmas eve, we just hung out at home mostly.
We also read the nativity story in the scriptures, while the girls reenacted it with our little nativity figurines.
