Finally Finished!

We have been reading the Book of Mormon for a few years now with the girls. We started out only reading 1 column per night for the first year, then we decided they were old enough to handle 1 page per night for the 2nd year. Now, two and a half years later (maybe even 3 years!) we FINALLY finished the whole book! It took forever, but it is still fun to say we did that together as a family. The girls were excited to finish, and even wanted to read extra the last couple nights so we could finish it! Now we will read it again, but I think this time we will try 1 chapter a night. Maybe then it won't take an eternity! :) Livia even likes to read, she can read the verses quite well!

Easter

We visited mine & Mike's family for Easter this year, where it was cold and snowy; but we still had fun.

On Saturday we went to a community Easter egg hunt. The 1st picture is Livia running for the eggs, and the 2nd one is her not finding any of the plastic ones (with money in them)!

Of course, we dyed lots of eggs! The best part of Easter!

My girls were the first ones to wake up actually - before the other 3 kids. They woke up at 5:50am!!! Mike & I were mean though and we made them stay in bed for another 40 minutes. Although, it didn't do anyone any good, because we could hear them whispering and giggling the whole time! So we let them go upstairs and wake up the rest of the house!

Fun Play Day

A few weeks ago, my parents took all of us kids (and our families) to the Camas Rec Center for a fun day of swimming and playing. It was a lot of fun. The kids got to swim, rock climb, and play ball. Thanks momma, it was a fun day.

I Tried

I really did give it my best try today. I woke up feeling like crap today. I never sleep good due to heartburn and leg cramps, but today I woke up feeling "extra" crappy! So I took a shower, did my hair and make-up as best as I could. I even put a brand new outfit on from Old Navy! But after an hour of realizing that I still feel crappy, I canceled with my morning client at the gym, got my sweats on, and put my hair in a pony, and curled up on the couch. I felt much better after that. I tried though!

Heart Melting!

Sydney made this for me yesterday. It made my little heart melt! I could read it the first time I read it. Mike and Livia needed some help. See if you can read it on your own the first time! :)

It says, "Mom I love you. I think you are the best mom. Love Sydney.

No School

There was no school yesterday, or today, because of parent teacher conferences. So I let the girls have some friends over to play and they died Easter eggs. They had fun together. The little boy in the red shirt is Sydney's BEST friend! They play SOOOO good together! Sydney LOVES to wrestle with him! :) Livia had the other 2 friends over. (She just started wanting to do things with "boys") It's cute!
