Poor Mike had a very mellow father's day this year. We usually visit our dad's on father's day, but since he had a 1 week old baby, we stayed home and did nothing too spectacular. I did make him an awesome breakfast though, with his favorite cottage cheese pancakes! (gross... I know...) Plus, Mike DID get to have his first father's day with 3 daughters now! He is a lucky man!

The labor was very quick & easy, (just under 4 hours from start 2 finish). She was born at 3:51 am with no complications. She is a SUPER good baby. She sleeps all the time, and nurses really good. The only minor thing she has, is a tight frenulum under her tongue, so she may have to have it clipped, but we're not sure yet. It doesn't seem to bother her though. The girls absolutely LOVE her! They take turns holding her and taking care of her. I have to fight to hold her sometimes! :) (we'll see how long that will last!) My mom came to help out all week long, so my dishes and laundry were constantly done, along with babysitting the girls and feeding us. She had a very busy week! I'm sure she is exhausted! Thanks for all the help momma!
I have to admit that having a little baby again is really fun! It's like having a super cool toy! :) I thought I was out of the whole "baby mode" and wasn't sure how I would handle having a tiny newborn again, but so far, I am loving it! She is such a good baby. Between all 4 of us though, I have a feeling she could become very spoiled very quick!

House Update
Here is an update on our house. It is still on time to being finished by the 25th of this month, and then we will move in right away, that weekend. I am starting to get really excited, now that it is almost done, and looking more like a house! Here are some pictures of the progress. Plus you can see the things we have chosen so far. Hopefully it all looks good once everything is in, but I think it looks good so far.
Here is the paint that we chose for the outside, with our green door. I wasn't sure about the green door at first, but I really like it now.
Here is the kitchen and living room. You can see the cabinets we chose. I was really skeptical of them, but I like their originality and personality it brings. The bar will go in the middle more, where the cutout in the floor is.

Kid Appreciation Day!
We celebrated our 3rd annual kid appreciation day with the girls this Sunday. Livia wasn't too happy that it fell on a fast Sunday this year, but we made a giant breakfast for them when she could break her fast! We got them a few small presents, a big meal (of their choice) and hid a dollar under their plates. Plus they got out of their daily chores! They had a pretty nice day! It's fun to have 2 special & beautiful girls. They help our family feel so complete! I love you girls!
Disappointed Parents
Last weekend my parents came down, HOPING that I would deliver my baby while they were here, but.... no such luck! They were disappointed, but we made a fun weekend out of it. We got all the fam together and played games, BBQ'd, went shopping, went to farmer's market, and caught up with each others' lives. It was chaotic & loud, as usual; but it was also fun.... (and a good distraction from waiting for my baby!)

The very next weekend, Mike's parents came for a visit, ALSO hoping that I would go into labor while they were here, but..... they were disappointed too! They tried hard! Every time I sat down, they made me go for a walk, or go shopping, or Diana would work on my feet to help start labor! This baby is just not ready to come out yet I guess! Her due date is TOMORROW!!! (The 8th)
We had a fun weekend with them too though. We got to show them our house, that they hadn't seen yet, walked the arboretum, did more shopping, (of course) more farmer's market, & more BBQ'ing! They also brought both the little Bishon doggies, along with their 3 week old puppies, so the girls were in HEAVEN! I think they were more sad for the puppies to leave than their Nana & Papa! :)
