Happy Birthday (to me)

Mike surprised me by getting off from work early so he could make my birthday cake for me and dinner! SO NICE! But we went to Pizza Hut instead, but he did make my cake. Here's Proof!! ;)

I chose Mandarin Orange Cake! It was so good. The cake has Mandarin oranges in it and the frosting has pineapple in it. Really good but not good to eat if you're trying to loose weight! :o

I got lots of baking stuff for my birthday! Which is what I wanted and asked for! Plus I'm stoked about my Klean Kanteen that Mike got me!

Mike is so outnumbered! He gets to live with 4 girls everyday! He is SOOOO lucky! ;) Thanks for making my birthday so fun girls & Mike! I Love you guys!

Visit Mom & Dad

My dad recently had Angioplasty Heart Surgery, so the girls and I went to visit him for our 4 day weekend! I wanted to help cook for him and make sure he was eating right, but he really didn't need any help! He's doing such a good job eating right and walking everyday! I'm proud of you dad! Plus my mom is taking really good care of him, but it was still fun to get out of town for an extended weekend (even though we had to leave Mike behind). Mike actually got a LOT done at home with all of us gone! I told him I should start leaving him alone more often! ;0

Poor Sydney got sick for most the weekend! :( She stayed in bed and watched movies!

My dad walks to the end of his long driveway & back a couple times a day for exercise. Livia was his little buddy!

I gave Brooks a bath in my parents' sick with her Bumbo. It worked surprisingly well! Plus she seemed to like it!

Check out my baby's deltoids! She looks so buff! ;) Just don't touch them, you could lose a finger! hee hee! :)

Halloween Fun!

We celebrated Halloween this year on Saturday. A lot of people thought I was a farmer, but I was SUPPOSE to be a mechanic! Brookie was my fearless sidekick. Sydney was a cheerleader, Liv was Medusa, and Mike was a football playa!

We celebrated first by going to a Halloween party with our friends. I am trying to beat my opponents by dropping m&m's into a cup using a straw! (I lost!)

Livia went hand fishing for "eyeballs" in spaghetti noodles; I mean brains. (She won!) While poor Brooky fell asleep on our friend, Josh.

Mike had to pop balloons to get his puzzle pieces so he could be the first to put it together. (He won!) And Sydney got wrapped up like a mummy!

Livia did the doughnut eating contest. She did the same game last year, and won, but this year, she got beat by a fierce little 5 year old! Sydney was a human basketball hoop, although we used candy corn instead! She did great, but we, the throwers lost! :(

Everyone talked me into making a record for the girls for chubby bunny, with marshmallows. Unfortunately, the record is only 3! It was a LOT harder that it looks! The boys' record was crazy! It was like 17 or something like that. Don't ask me how! I think they were cheating and swallowed some!

On Sunday, we had our own little Halloween party with my sister and her family. We played lots of games with the kids.

Plus, I tried to make it as "festive" as I could. I made mummy pizza's & witches hats!

We got really big pumpkins this year, so they were lots of fun to carve, but really hard to cut through too!

Mike's Parent's Visit

It's always nice to have a visit from Mike's parents. They came to visit for Mike's birthday, and David helped Mike put up our cabinets in the laundry room! LOVE THEM! And install Mike's air compressor that he got for his birthday. Plus they fixed the garage door that wouldn't shut and I got some pictures hung up finally! It was a very productive weekend!

Mike uses his air compressor any chance he can! He loves it! He's like a boy on Christmas morning; which is good, because that is also his Christmas gift! ;)

Soooo... I am officially a bad wife/blogger, because I just realized I never blogged about my husbands birthday. I blogged about my new shirt and our backyard, but forgot his birthday! (*hand slap*) So, I here are a few pics to redeem myself, and proof that I did NOT forget it on the actual day. Happy Birthday Honey (again)... Love you!

Livia insisted that daddy wanted these gear wrenches, so I took her word for it and she was right. He loved them!

I surprised him with a nice new suit that was well needed. Now he won't look like a bum on Sundays! :) Now I just need to find a taylor for his pants. Anyone know a good one in Moscow!?...
