My little Livia turned 14 this month!! Where does the time go!?
She made the girls basketball B team through school, so she had a tournament on her birthday.
Hence the basketball jersey ... :)
Tara also got us into Diamond Candles this Christmas, so she got her own...
... and this was the ring inside.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIVIA!!!
We love you very much, and we are so proud of the young woman you are becoming!
While my parents were still visiting, we took them to the gun range.
This was my target. :)
(In my defense, I used three different guns, all that I've never shot before) :)
Took my mom to the Bake Shoppe and Cafe (so good!) :)
And we took her to Old Tomball, with Syd and Brooke.
Love this kid's personality! :)
Of course, had to stop and try the nations second best ice cream! :)
My parents have turned into such electronic geeks! lol
Got some more games in before they had to leave.
My mom taught the girls how to play Chess.
Brooke actually loves playing this game. :)
And also had to introduce them to Torchy's Tacos! YUM! :)

Then they had to leave! :(
It was fun to have them here, and it went by fast!
Here's some misc Pic from January.
Brooklyn started gymnastics and LOVES it!! (which is an understatement!) Plus, I like her new teacher because he seems to know what he's doing and he pushes the kids. Brooklyn's already doing things that she's never been able to do before.
Here's a video of her doing the rings for the first time. She did pretty good! :)
Love these cute little girls, and they love each other. It's so fun that they get to take this class together.
Speaking of cute girls.....
These girls are little BFF's and absolutely adore one another!
And it just so happens that her mom is one of my BFF's! :) WIN/WIN!!
Brooklyn has been domesticating herself lately. This day she was adamant about doing her own laundry. She wanted to wash, dry, and even fold and put it away. So, of course I'm not gonna stop her! ;)
This day, she wanted to scrub the floor like Cinderella... "with a toothbrush" lol
This day, she wanted to make "and bake" her own meal, of pretzels, peas, crackers, and fruit by the foot. :)
I joined the stake women's basketball team this month, which has been a lot of fun!
One of Brooke's favorite parts of family night, is a special talent, and this was one of Mike's "special" talents, balancing a chair on his chin! hahaha :)
Brooke has been having lots of tea parties! ;)
And she LOVES ABC Mouse! :)
And she still loves her preschool and playgroup. They love dancing to songs on iTunes.
Cute picture of my Syd right before bed.
I wanted to capture this moment, when all three girls have long straight hair! :) I wasn't feeling good, so Livia did Brooke's hair before church, and she looked so cute and grown up with it straight.
Here's one Sunday when Sydney and I were little twinsies! :)
We checked out a new park, called Burroughs Park, and had a great time in the sun, walking, playing, and fishing.
We didn't catch anything, but I think the girls still had fun. They were definitely missing our old Idaho friend's hand-fed, well-stocked, catch a fish without bait fish pond! :)
Here's a turtle we caught on a walk behind our house. There are tons of turtles who sunbathe on the cement on a sunny day. It's fun to see them.
Brooke got a package in the mail from her Aunt Shalise and Nana, which was the highlight of her day! She LOVES checking the mail and loves it even more when there's something for her! :)
Here's a project that I finally finished. I actually found the door off Craigslist and got it as a birthday gift! But then it sat in the garage for awhile until the holidays and company were a little less hectic, but I got it done and I love how it turned out.
This is the before picture of just the door I bought for $80! But it is a good, solid door.
We took the hinges off and the doorknob, and sanded it. Because it was already white, we didn't have to re-paint it. Just sand it enough to smooth out the coloring and stress it out a little.
Screwed some coat hooks on it.
