Fishing

We were all smooshed together on this little platform, yet we still all caught a fish! It took Matthew & Livia awhile, but I'm pretty sure even they caught one. It was a quick, but fun trip.
Livia finally caught hers in the last 5 min of leaving!
Even Brooky caught one! (with her hands!) :)

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to a Great Dad!
And what do father's like best..... a foot massage and a full belly!!

For Father's Day this year, I saw on a movie how they had several pictures taken of the same kid of just their face doing different facial expressions, so that's what I tried to recreate. It was fun taking the pictures. These were my favorite ones of the girls...

Brooklyn is 1 year old!!!

I can't believe it.... my little Brooky turned 1 on June 13th!

We went to visit family and have a birthday party for her last weekend. she got to have 1 Great-Grandma, 2 Grandma's, 2 Grandpa's, 5 Aunts, 3 Uncles, 6 cousins, 2 sisters, and a mommy and daddy at her party! It was a big party, but it was so nice to have everyone together!

This is one of Brooklyn's hospital pictures, 1 year ago!
And here she is now!
She got spoiled with so many cute things...
She wasn't sure of what to think of these cool shoe/socks that her great granny got her at first, but now we LOVE THEM! They are so cute and easy to put on!
Her Auntie Tara came all the way from Seattle just for little Brooky, so I put her on mini cake duty! Didn't she do such a good job!?! I loved it! It's so cute and perfect for a first cake! They were originally just cupcakes! :) We decided to go with cherry cake & frosting!
Of course.... she loved it! She made a big mess, which put her in a quick bath afterward! ;)
Since we celebrated her birthday on a Saturday in Priest River, I decided to make some brownies for her "Real" birthday on Monday! (Since 2 cupcakes wasn't enough sugar!) ;) She was so funny... the whole time we sang Happy Birthday to her, she kept this funny pose and face, until we were done singing, then she perked up and liked it! Our singing prob scared her! :)
And again, she liked it!
Clever little pic taken by Mike.

Happy Birthday Brooklyn Jade! We are SOOOO glad that we decided to have you and be a part of our family!

This & That

The girls begged to wash our cars, so I said, heck yes! Now I know WHY they wanted to..... they pretty much made a slip-n-slide on the car! Then they washed my van and cracked the windshield in 4 different places! :( Mike said it was because the water was so cold and the windshield was so hot, but I don't know about that. It wasn't even 90 degrees outside. It was barely 80! Now my windshield has crack all across it! LAME, but it was clean! :)
Livia did a research project all by herself! She did a really good job too! I kept waiting for her to ask for help, but she never did. She did an amazing job and got an A+ of course! (It was on what was eaten on the Oregon Trail) Good Job Liv!
Livia's big muscles! :)
ORANGEY BABY!!! A mess only a momma would love and clean up
I know this pic is a little blurry, but I wanted to show what Brooklyn's new thing is lately. She likes to frown! People will come up to her and say hi and she will glare at them hard core! For a long time too! It's so funny! Last night she was glaring at ME while she was nursing, which kept making me laugh, and then she would glare even harder! It went on for like 5 min! Too funny!
She's all talk though! ;)

Both Parent's Visit

Mike's parents came to visit us for a few days, and they got to bring with them 2 of their grand daughters. We had a house full but it was a lot of fun! Plus Mike & David FINALLY got the cars done!
Mike's idea was to make one decent car out of two crappy, almost dying cars! And he did! They took the good parts from both and now the black car is his new car to drive and is in MUCH better shape than the white car was. It took him & his dad several hours, but they did it! Good job boys! However, somehow I got kicked out of the garage! We need to dispose of the dead white car so I get my spot back now!
No Touchy!
The finished product....... such stud muffins! ;)
Brooklyn with her Nana! It was such a nice day!
The first night, we made our own pizza's. The kids seemed to all like that.
Kiauna's & Livia's Pizzas
Ceceilia's & Sydney's Pizzas
Sissy played The Move on the PS3 the first day a lot! her right arm and shoulder were SOOO sore the rest of the weekend! It was funny! Poor Sis!
Kiauna with her guitar! She even played me a beautiful song!

Before Mike's parents came to visit, we got a visit from MY parents as well! It was good to see both our families in the same month! Here is Brooklyn with her skinny Pappaw!
My mom, my sister, Heather, & Sydney (who is trying to sharpen the end of a stick with a dull, rusty blade that she found buried in the ground!)
Brooklyn with her OTHER grandma! No wonder she's so spoiled - She always being held in all her pictures!
The kiddies
This pictures was not staged! :) We were both trying to out-whit the other!

Happy Mother's Day

We went North to visit both our parents for Mother's Day this year. It was a fun weekend. A little cool and rainy, but still fun. The girls were especially excited, since my parents bought a new trampoline since their last one broke! Mike's parents were nice enough to come help us put it together in between the thunder storms! :)

I really surprised my mom this year, by making her Mother's Day breakfast on Saturday morning, instead of Sunday (because I knew that Mike and the girls were whispering about making breakfast in bed for me on Sunday morning; which they did!).
Tara and I got her some solar lights to line her walkway at night.
My girls on mom's day! They made me wear this hat all morning! ;) Mike and the girls made my Mother's Day so nice by making me breakfast and pampering me all day! Thanks you guys!
Livia & Pappaw (before he leaves for Kentucky all summer long!!) :(
The girls spent a LOT of time making this for me! They hung notes and streamers EVERYWHERE downstairs! It was so sweet!
Plus, my FAVORITE gift of all.... coupons!!!! I LOVE coupon books! They are my fav 'cuz I actually USE them! :) Although the girls have learned that I use them, so this year I noticed a lot more "back rubs" and "make your bed's" instead of clean your car and do the dishes! ;)
The girls would live on a giant trampoline if I let them I think! ;)
Doesn't my mom look so beautiful on Mother's Day, esp with her huge corsage that Tara got her!
Me & my mom! I love you so much mom! You're the best!
