May 2015

I had a great Mother's Day. My awesome family took over the cooking and cleaning and let me have a day off! :) I really love watching them cook together in the kitchen for some reason! :)
They all got me a much needed new toaster oven! YAY!
And these cute blocks.... okay, I made them for myself. But I really like them :)
We took lots of walks this month, which involved lots of turtles and frogs!

Brooke loves working on her preschool pages! She's getting quite good at her letters and numbers.
She had lots of tea parties this month as well. She LOVES tea parties! :)
  Mani's and Pedi's for Spring! :)
Here's some pictures of Sydney's field day at school

We participated in a 5K Bubble Run, with the Lane family, which was a lot of fun!

Brooklyn wanted to get out of the trailer and run the last little bit. She did good and had fun. Her and daddy crossed the finish line together. :)

Brooklyn has discovered Mario this month and LOVES playing it. She is quite good too! She's almost as good as I am! No joke! haha - I let her play a little bit everyday, because in my mind, it's good physical therapy for her left hand. :)

We had fun with Jody's new backyard for Memorial Day! ;)

Then, that night, this happens to the apartments right by their house. We had a bad storm and lightening struck the building! Very tragic.
This shows how bad the storm was - right on top of us.
Then another storm after that one!
We had several storms this month, which caused lots of flooding and house and tree damage everywhere. It was worse downtown which is where the flooding pictures below are from. It really was a mess!

We were without power for several hours.
Mike started his own business. Called Fox Point Consulting! This was our first piece of mail! Very exciting!
Mike took a new job in BOSTON, as a Data Architect! He will be working there M-Th and then fly home Th-Sun. Which required him to sell his old beat up car and get a more reliable one that could make the drive there; which he wasn't too sad about.
Pics with dad before he leaves for the first time.

April 2015

Easter fell on a Sunday this year; General conference Sunday! So we all got to stay in our jammies and watch conference on TV while we ate candy and cinnamon rolls for breakfast! ;)

Because everyone woke up earlier and ate too much sugar, it was very hard to stay awake for all of conference this year. ;)
Brooke got creative with her hollow bunny. haha :)
Of course, we died Easter eggs, lots of them!

Brooke took this very serious. ;)
Sydney mad her famous deviled eggs, all by herself! They were delish!
 Our Easter spread!
I still bought the girls new Easter dresses to wear the Sunday before, since they all 3 needed some!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture! How lucky am I to claim these three!!! We had a GREAT Easter!

Brooke had more Easter fun with her preschool group.

We also made resurrection rolls for the first time. They turned out great and the kids loved them!

Brooklyn also participated in a church egg hunt.

We had to start our yard work for the year. ;) Our weeds were getting out of control, so we re-mulched.
The pictures would look way more amazing if I would've showed the before pictures! ;)
I tricked the kids by gluing money to the sidewalk outside. They got a kick out of that.
Brooke got to join me with my scouts with marshmallows over a fire pit.
Livia got to attend Youth Conference and had a fun time.
We were a host family and these are the girls who stayed with us.
Sydney and Brooke enjoying the rain ;) lol
We went into Home Depot and Brooklyn got so excited over this! She thought they were big bags of cotton candy! haha
I took Brooke to a "Tea for Two" place which she absolutely LOVED!!!
Brooke's preschool class got to go on a field trip to the Houston Zoo.

She was so proud of herself for finishing one of her preschool activity books.
She even asked me to take a picture. :)
An exciting thing that happened with Sydney this month, is that the Dr okay-ed her to get contacts!!!
This is her Before:

 And this is her After:
(She looks so beautiful! Although, it's going to take some getting used to. I'm used to seeing her in her black glasses! :) She's such a pretty, fun girl.)
We finally made it to the drive-in
We were worried the storm would get us, but it held off until right as the movies were ending.
This is actually a different storm that blew in. This Spring has been a very stormy so far.
We had HUGE hail! I'm so glad our windshield didn't crack!

The storm even ruined our neighbors fence.
And knocked out several trees. We were without power for several hours!
It's already warm enough to start swimming!
Livia was inducted into the National Juniors Honors Society at school, due to good grades!
Go Livia!

She also ran a 5K color run at her school

Mike got serenaded during dinner one night, while I sat back, laughing and taking pictures of him. I'm so supportive.
And, of course, Brooke and her friends! :) She's such a social little kid.
