July 2015

 The 4th of July started with a little parade.

   

 After hanging out for the afternoon, we did a few daylight firecrackers and sparklers.

Jody invited a bunch of people over to her house for some swimming, games, BBQ, and fireworks. 

It was a great night!

Everybody misses Mike when he is in Boston, but we make up for it on the weekends when he gets to come home :)

 

Another fun thing we got to do this summer was go to Idaho and visit out family and friends! The girls and i got to be there for 4 weeks! And Mike would visit there on the weekends, and then for a week for camping! It was a very fun and memorable vacation!

 All 3 suitcases weighed 49 and 50 pounds! Which was the limit! Phew!

Brooke brought her build-a-bear that you got her for her birthday Tara. She had it the whole flight, there and back!

 She was geeking out in the airport! :) lol

 

 

 Livia just wanted to be left alone to read her new book! ;)

 Between coloring, movies, and snacks, Brooke was entertained well and did great on the flights!

 

 Brooke had to take turns with the window, which she was not very happy about.

 We finally made it to Priest River, Idaho!!!

We got to visit Shalise and her kids in Spokane, Wa.

 

 

 Mike was geeking out over the girls learning to drive where he learned how to drive in Spokane. ;) Thanks for letting us borrow your car mom! ;)

 

 We checked on our old house on Wellesley. This was mine and Mike's very first house!

 Ate at Red Robin in Spokane with some old friends.

 

 

Fun at mom and dad's house, and lots of fun with our pool in a pool! haha ;)

 

 

 We had to make a stop at Silverwood, of course! So fun! Diana got to come with us!

 Then a trip to the pound to visit some animals.

 This cat gave hugs! ;0

 We stayed at Stoneridge Resort for a couple of days.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We had a bat in our room!!!! I had to be brave and get it out (since I was the only adult!) It was scary, but I did it! It gave us a pretty good laugh! ;)

 

 

 

 

 

 Brooke has decided that she loves chess! :)

 

 

We got to visit the Palouse and see all of our friends in Moscow and Heather and her family in Pullman!! Who would've thought that I would've missed the rolling hills of the Palouse as much as I did! :)

 

We got to stay with Heather and see her new house.

We celebrated Jeff's birthday with him at La Casa!

Go to the water park and see more friends! :)

Brooke LOVED seeing her old Best Friend, Ella-Bella :)

We got to hike up Moscow Mountain with the Popes! I loved having a view to look down on! I miss that in Texas.

Stopped to say hi to the WSU bears.

Of course, we had to stop and play downtown Moscow! Our old stomping grounds! ;)

We had to remind Brooke of the rattle snake she would always want to stop and see when we lived there.

Then we went to our old apartment while we went to U of I.That brought back memories!

Then we drove down to my old apartment that we used to live in while my mom was getting her masters at U of I! It was condemned, but still standing.... barely! :0

Walked around the U of I campus.

Had a fun BBQ with our good friends.

Then we got to go camping at Priest Lake!! It was a beautiful week.

Then time to go home! this time we had Sydney with us! :) She had fun staying with Mammaw the 3 extra weeks though.

When we got home, Jody surprised us with goodies and TONS OF SPIDERS HIDING EVERYWHERE!!!! We were finding them for the next couple of days! HAHA!!!! So funny!
